Nørr & Leo
NØRR & LEO was founded in 2019 by the couple Mette and Philip Leopold. The idea of creating a shop emerged through the interior design of their shared home. The shop was meant to bring together the skilled artists, ceramicists, and designers they have come to know over time. The space was intended to feel like a home — a home where one surrounds oneself with objects of meaning and history. A major source of inspiration for the couple is lived-in homes, where the people behind them have collected meaningful objects throughout their lives. The importance of being able to keep products for a lifetime plays a significant role in the selection of products for Nørr & Leo.
The shop is located at Park Allé 7 in Aarhus, which Philip considers a historic property, as his grandfather ran a department store from the site in the 1940s. A sense of being connected to one’s family home forms the foundation for how they design and draw inspiration, both nationally and internationally.
At Nørr & Leo, Stillark is presented in a collected and tactile setting, where craftsmanship, character, and longevity shape the experience. Objects and interiors coexist in an inhabited environment, forming a space that feels personal rather than styled.
