“Our house is from 1905 and was originally a two-family house. We wanted to recreate some of the things that were lost over time and that made the house special. Among other things, we reopened old doors and windows that were bricked up, and decided that none of the walls inside the house would be white, as it was originally intended. We wanted to renovate with respect for the identity and age of the house. Our kitchen is both practical and modern in all its functions, but it also has warmth and personality that we have fallen in love with. The kitchen has character without seeming noisy.”
